👾Initial D (GBC)
RacingMedium
Hit the mountain passes in this top-down racing game for Game Boy Color, a homebrew tribute to the legendary Initial D manga and anime series. You play as Takumi Fujiwara, the unassuming tofu delivery driver with supernatural drifting skills — but this time you are racing to deliver ramen orders before the clock runs out. Drift through tight hairpin corners, dodge cyclists and obstacles on winding mountain roads, and master the art of the inertia drift to shave seconds off your time. The chiptune soundtrack features a faithful rendition of the iconic Eurobeat anthem "Gas Gas Gas" during gameplay. Developed by GGracia10 and released in 2017, this freeware gem captures the spirit of street racing in genuine 8-bit Game Boy Color style.
