A polished block-dropping puzzle game for Game Boy Color by homebrew developer AntonioND that puts a geometric spin on the classic formula. Instead of tetrominoes, Geometrix drops complex polygonal shapes — triangles, pentagons, hexagons, and irregular forms — onto a grid where you must arrange them to form complete horizontal lines. Each shape can be rotated and mirrored, adding an extra layer of spatial reasoning beyond standard block-droppers. The game features 4 distinct modes: Marathon (clear lines to increase speed), Sprint (clear 40 lines as fast as possible), Ultra (score as many points as possible in 3 minutes), and Puzzle (clear a preset configuration in minimal moves). Vibrant GBC color palettes give each shape type a distinct look, and the chiptune soundtrack adapts to gameplay tempo. With tight controls, increasing difficulty, and a high skill ceiling, Geometrix rewards pattern recognition and quick spatial thinking.
